The First Overseas BIPV Project of JANGHO Curtain Wall

JANGHO Curtain Wall is proud to announce a recent achievement on the international stage, having successfully won the bid for the Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) curtain wall project. This not only marks JANGHO Curtain Wall's first Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) project in overseas markets, but is also a milestone in the "going global" strategic journey, laying a more solid foundation for the company’s internationalization and global expansion.

The client of the MPA project is the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. The building is a modern office building standing at a height of 37 meters. Main curtain wall systems include BIPV glass unit system, frame glass, frame aluminum plate, frame louvers, swing doors, and decorative strips, which satisfy both functional and aesthetic purposes.

The biggest highlight of the project is the widespread application of BIPV modules. Among the curtain wall area of over 11300m2, the photovoltaic curtain wall covers approximately 8000m2; giant "solar panels" cleverly embedded on several facades of the building. These customized photovoltaic modules will be independently developed by JANGHO Photovoltaic and manufactured at its production base in Xishui, Hubei. The installed capacity of MPA’s photovoltaic system is 1039KWp, and the solar power generated can be directly used by the building’s occupants.

This winning bid is not only a new breakthrough for JANGHO Curtain Wall in its overseas market expansion, but also an international recognition of its technical strength and solution capabilities in the BIPV field.
