On October 30, Jangho Curtain Wall Asia-Pacific Region held the conference on product quality assurance of suppliers, in order to intensify opening and cooperation, improve the international operation ability and create an efficient and high-quality supply chain system. In the conference, the Group publicized the quality requirements for the new key overseas projects in depth, and also reviewed and summarized the prototype projects, in hope for promoting the high-quality development of overseas curtain wall businesses with actions.

The conference was attended by Lou Fei, the President of Asia-Pacific Region, Shen Yonghong, the Group’s Bidding and Procurement Director, Lu Hongjun, the Vice President of Asia-Pacific Region as well as 56 material suppliers for the key overseas projects.

In the conference, Shen Yonghong underlined the significance of cooperation between Jangho Curtain Wall and various suppliers, imagined the broad prospect of the overseas strategy and brought forth six requirements for suppliers:

01 Foster strong sense of responsibilities, stick to idea of contractual performance, always prioritize product quality and consolidate the basis for cooperation and win-win.

02 Stick to the “scheme and prototype-oriented” concept, summarize optimal process from prototype practice, set a typical benchmark for project quality and boost the transformation and innovation of product quality.

03 Intensify teamwork, unite all staff and spare no efforts to guarantee the smooth completion of projects.

04 Intensify product protection and transport management and monitor product quality in the entire process from material manufacturing to installation.

05 Control the production cycle of materials strictly, intensify the matching degree of products, lower error rate and improve working efficiency and achievement quality.

06 Shoulder responsibilities actively, learn the special features of overseas supply and avoid affecting project progress by the deviation on progress and quality.

In the conference, Lu Hongjun further emphasized the importance of quality in market competition and expressed the Group’s determination of forging ahead with suppliers. By sharing relevant experience, Lu required the suppliers to further recognize and stress the key projects, and make publicity internally to further reinforce quality control. Lu pointed out that only by sticking to high standards and strict requirements and strengthening control over process and working procedure can we stand out and forge ahead steadily in the fierce market.

In the conference, the key links were also publicized comprehensively based on project needs, such as project supply, quality and data as well as quality assurance and acceptance; the issues on sample sealing and prototype production process were summarized to deepen suppliers’ understandings on the Group’s quality requirements. The attending suppliers also signed the Agreement on Quality Compliance of Suppliers with the Group in the conference.

In the concluding remarks, Lou Fei expressed high attention had been paid to the regions’ key projects from the level of both the Group and the corresponding regions. The requirements symbolize not only strict quality requirements for project but also the strategic significance that they bring. Lou pointed out, “Our Asia-Pacific Region Division has completed nearly 60 projects in Singapore. The region’s successful experience of construction in Singapore cannot be separated from the long-term cooperation with all attending suppliers. To cope with the new market challenges, we hope that all suppliers could satisfy the stricter requirements and our team will give full support to our partners.” Lou also required the suppliers to implement each requirement during project construction to ensure product quality and delivery punctuality, and to control risks.

Through the publicity in the conference, the Asia-Pacific Region Division will make further improvement and establish long-term stable cooperation relationship with suppliers on the principle of mutual benefits. At the same time, the Group also hopes that the suppliers could comply with its development pace, intensify collaboration, and enhance their awareness of product quality to finally realize win-win.
